Hole in My Backyard

Holes in my Backyard is a documentary portrait of Kroo Bay, one of the poorest informal slum settlements in the very heart of Freetown, the capital city of Sierra Leone.  The film looks at many of the hardships community members face. It reveals how they get by, ranging from artisanal fishing businesses, hard labor to illegal smuggling businesses.
