Anna Fitch is an Emmy award-winning director with a background in natural history filmmaking and a degree in Entomology. The documentaries that she has directed have aired on the National Geographic Channel, TLC, Channel 4, and PBS. Awards and nominations include: BugWorld: War of Two Worlds – Emmy for Best Documentary Directing 2003, Delegates Choice Wildscreen 2002, finalist Banff 2003. Bug Attack won the CINE special jury award 2005. Her 10 min. narrative short The Burning Wigs of Sedition (director 2010) was in competition at the Seattle International Film Festival screened at the National Gallery of Art, the Woodstock Film Festival, Rooftop and won a Best of Festival prize at the Black Maria Film Festival, and an Audience Award at SF IndieFest. The Genius of Marian (2013), an award winning feature length documentary that she co-directed premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and aired on POV.
